Virtual University of Uganda to Partner with Government to Bridge skills gap

The Virtual University of Uganda (VUU) has made plans to partner with the government, industry, academia, civil society and professional bodies to deliver quality graduates.

Addressing participants at the university’s strategic engagement event on Wednesday 12th September 2018 at  Serena conference hall, the University Board Chairman, Mr. Grayson Nash said they are committed to develop relevant and applicable qualifications to fill the skills gap currently being faced in Africa.

According to the university Vice Chancellor, Prof. Everd Maniple, digital education presents a convenient arena for passing on skills and also skills development.

Virtual University of Uganda offers different courses at post-graduate, degree, Diploma and Certificate levels.

The university uses a user-friendly online learning platform which enables students to advance their education and careers without leaving their work, home or country.
