Job Title: Local Government Program Officer

About USAID GAPP Project:
RTI is the prime contractor for USAID funded GAPP program. The goal of this 5 year program is to increase participation accountability and local governance for effective service delivery. GAPP focuses on three components; Strengthen local government revenue, procurement, financial and planning systems, support, Strengthen national level government accountability institutions in their interaction with local governments and Strengthen civil society organizations and other non-state actors to improve voice and accountability.
Job Summary: The Local Government Program Officer will offer technical support to the Local Government Expert to ensure the effective implementation of activities and coordinate the District coordinators on program activities as they relate to focus area.
