University of Queensland TC Beirne School of Law Scholarships in Australia, 2014

The University of Queensland is offering Law scholarships for International, Australian and New Zealand students. The scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree level. Scholarships are provided in the field of Law. Scholarships are awarded to a student enrolling in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of Laws (Advanced) (LLM(Adv)) programs. Any offer of a scholarship is made subject to approval of the candidate’s enrolment in the Master of Laws program at The University of Queensland. 28th February 2014 is the application deadline.

The scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree level. Scholarships are provided in the field of Law. Scholarships are awarded to a student enrolling in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Master of Laws (LLM) or Master of Laws (Advanced) (LLM(Adv)) programs. Any offer of a scholarship is made subject to approval of the candidate’s enrolment in the Master of Laws program at The University of Queensland. 

Number of award(s): The total number of scholarships will be determined on an annual basis.

Duration of award(s): The duration and amount of each scholarship to be awarded will be determined on an annual basis.

What does it cover? The scholarships will cover monetary assistance to help with living expenses.

Selection criteria: Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
-Academic merit
-Significant financial need
-Express interest in the study of law, with a view to using that study in some future occupation
-Proposed budget
Applicants should note that the total number of scholarships, duration and amount of each scholarship to be awarded will be determined on an annual basis by the TC Beirne School of Law Scholarship Endowment Fund Selection Committee.

Notification: After the closing date applicants will be notified about the outcome in writing.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
