Lubwama Joshua scored two goals at either half to enlighten Makerere’s chances of qualification.

Makerere university footballer led through Lubwama’s first half goal but shortly conceded to Katumba Alex’s powerful header at the end of first half.

Coupled with mistakes and poor marking,  Uganda Martyrs University‘s Seruja Dan,  due to pressure from a vibrant Makerere,  could not help but foul Kasoma Dan in the penalty box.  Lubwama Joshua fired in his second for the day.

However, Makerere university football team piled up more pressure and Mugema Julius fired in a third goal which should have settled the game only for Uganda Martyrs university football team to grab a second goal.
