Ugandan singer AK47 dies in unclear circumstances

AK47 is dead

Darkness has befallen Mayanja’s family after Emmanuel Mayanja (AK47) breathed his last. AK47 has gone  silent and he is no more.

The news about the death of the talented artist has been received with shock and disbelief among artists, friends and family members.

According to New Vision, AK47 is allegedly said to have been beaten  in a bar in Kabalagala before he died on arrival at Nsambya hospital, yet earlier reports indicate the singer fell from the bathroom and knocked his head.

AK47 has been one of the fastest growing young artists in Uganda’s music industry.

Born to Mr Gerald Mayanja and Mrs Prossy Musoke, AK47 shares the same father with the greatest musicians in Uganda; Jose Chameleone, Weasel and Pallaso.

At the time of his death, aK47 had recorded over ten songs. These include Bayudda rmx, Nze Akwagala, Ndowoozako, Mbeera Yansi, Gunsinze, Mutima Gwange, Ndaila, Okusoma, Movie Star, Better dance, One of a kind, Champion, Yoono and Action packed.
