Uganda Technology And Management University (UTAMU) in collaboration with the University of Saarland and GIZ- Germany Cooperation have rolled out a Master of Evaluation degree course. The new course is aimed at strengthening evaluation capacity in both government and other sectors in Uganda and the greater East African region.
UTAMU was selected as the Ugandan lead partner institution through a rigorous competitive process to pilot two modules on the blended jointly run programme.
The Master of Evaluation degree course has been developed to enable participants from the public and private sectors gain the new qualification while continuing in their jobs.
The course is structured in a blended learning format that combines face-to face seminars, online study and E-learning and evaluation experts from Saarland University and UTAMU will support the delivery of the course content.
Admissions for this course are now open and over 30 scholarships are available for those interested in pursuing a specialized career in evaluation.
