Uganda Martyrs University Applications 2018/2019 August Intake

Uganda Martyrs University Nkoozi is inviting all interested candidates for the August intake of 2018/2019 Academic year.

Offering new programmes and disciplines in:

  • Economics and Natural Resources Management,
  • Early Childhood Development Education,
  • Engineering, Inclusive Deaf Education,
  • Procurement and Supply Chain,
  • Mental Health Counselling Psychology and Transformative Education and Faith.

All Uganda Martyrs University programmes in this advert are accredited by National Council for Higher Education and recognized by corresponding Professional Bodies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma Programmes: Minimum requirement is One (1) Principle Pass in the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education in the subjects relevant to the programme applied for, or a certificate in related field. And should have obtained at least Five (5) Passes in the Uganda Certificate of Education at one sitting or its equivalent

Undergraduate Programmes: Minimum of Two (2) Principle Passes in the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent. Diploma holders are also invited to apply. For all those applying for distance learning, relevant certificates are required.

Postgraduate Programmes: At least a Second Class Honours degree from recognized Institutions in a relevant field or in exceptional circumstances, professional qualifications will be required. Candidates are required to pass the UMU Graduate Admission Test (GAT) and have at least two years of working experience in the relevant field.

Application forms can be obtained either from the Registrar’s Office at the Main Campus in Nkozi (on +256 (0) 393 215 696) or at Lubaga Campus located just below the Lubaga Cathedral Church after Centenary Bank (on +256 (0) 393 215 779). Or from any nearest Office of the Diocesan Education Secretary of the Catholic Diocese or UMU Campuses: Mbale (on +256 (0) 393 215 706) located at St. Austin, Masaka (on +256 (0) 393 215 784) located at Bwala Social Centre, Nsambya (on +256 (0) 393 215 786) opposite Nsambya Catholic Parish, Kabale (on +256 (0) 393 215 787) located at the former premises of Kabale Boys Primary School, Fort Portal (on +256 (0) 393 215 788) located at Virika, Ngetta (on +256 (0) 393 215 785) located at the former Ngetta TTC and Mother Kevin Postgraduate Medical School (on +256 (0) 772377986) located opposite Nsambya Parish. APPLICATION FEES

A non-refundable Fee of Ugx.30,000 for Undergraduates and Ugx.50,000 for Postgraduates (excluding bank charges) should be paid on submission of the Application Form.
