Run under the theme “feel the rhythm”, poets recruited inspiration, love and sorrow poems.
Julie and Shamile recruited our man, Basoga Joel recited oh Uganda. Bruno, Jordan and Kira Brian aspiring law society President recited world war 3 among many others.
The full house was graced by performances from UCU dance groups like TLM, Crossover and saviour; all these merged to form one group; TCS for a joint performance.
Sole performances included those from the beautiful Isabel (aspiring Vice President law society) and Neliah Caire.
At every campus event there must be that one guy who nails it and this time it was Adile Leonard’s poem of one night stand. This romantic poem must have gotten pants torn and wet.
The hashtag for the day was #grandazania tweets were visible on a projector, twitter ranked it number in uganda one on Friday. It was too active but turned nasty when a student begun tweeting pornographic materials that forced the organiser Joel to switch off the projector.
Lastly the event was free of charge which accounts for a full house, why are events in UCU free?
Kudoz to Basoga Joel and Luke for organising such an event.
