UCL Institute for Global Health is offering graduate scholarships for African students. Scholarships are awarded for studying MSc in Global Health and Development.

Scholarships will be awarded towards tuition fees and living costs while studying at IGH. The Scholarship is a one-off award for the academic year September-September to study at the UCL Institute for Global Health.

Applications should be submitted till May 9, 2014.

Study Subject (s): Scholarships are awarded for studying MSc in Global Health and Development at the UCL Institute for Global Health.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master degree at the UCL Institute for Global Health.

Eligibility:
-The candidate must be an African national and a permanent resident of an African nation at the time of application.
-The candidate must have made an application and been accepted to UCL to study for a full-time postgraduate programme at the Institute for Global Health for the coming academic year.
-The scheme offers a substantial scholarship towards UCL tuition fees, accommodation and some living costs. The candidate must also be able to provide evidence that he/she has secured other sources of funding for traveling to and from the UK.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Students of Africa (Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia and Zimbabwe) can apply for the scholarships.

Scholarship Description: The scholarships exist to support African nationals with a high-quality academic and professional background who would not be able to study at UCL without financial assistance. The Scholarship is a one-off award for the academic year September-September to study at the UCL Institute for Global Health.
