UCC executive Director Patrick Mwesigwa appeared in Parliament to highlight on the much awaited Sim block.
The parliamentary committee on ICT recommended that an extension be considered by UCC to allow better preparations by both Telecom companies and UCC to handle the exercise effectively.
Mwesigwa says UCC will make an official communication on the next deadline after consultations with stakeholders.
