Two ministers kicked out of Uganda Christian University Guild

Uganda Christian University (UCU) guild parliament last week censured two guild ministers. Isaac Kugonza, the minister for Information was pushed out of the government headed by Mulungi Blessed who is the UCU Guild President.

Ssebulime Lawrence who has been serving as Education minister was also kicked out.

Reactions to the kick out as posted on facebook.

The censure takes effect immediately, the president revokes immediately unless the minister resigns. That is an internal issue of the executive.

But as of now, anybody who deals with those minister do it at your own risk. They are nolonger ministers. We follow UCU guild Constitution not practices as we were asked by the A.G.

There is no law in UCU GUILD that gives the president that mandate. If according to Article 39(2) (b) and Article 41 of the UCU GUILD CONSTITUTION, these two people are civilians.
