Tumusiime Flavia, most loved Uganda celebrity on facebook

Tumusiime Flavia

Flavia Tumusiime has set a trend to all Ugandan Local celebrities; This comes after her account page on recently got verified by Facebook.

Her facebook account is now denoted with a small blue icon with a check mark in it.

It appears next to the user or page’s name on their Timeline , in search results and elsewhere around Facebook; becoming the first local celebrity to have such a page in Uganda Whereas this helps fans to easily identify the guinine account of their
celebrities, Facebook in May came up with an iOS app that can only be used by people with verified pages.

The app, called Facebook Mentions , requires a “Verified” account to log in, and is built to help people manage their public figure pages on the social network.

Verified accounts are only given to only prominent public figures (celebrities, journalists, government
officials, popular brands and businesses) with large audiences on facebook.
