Tragic Loss: Esteemed Lecturer at Busitema University Passes On

Busitema University is currently in a state of mourning as it grieves the loss of one of its esteemed academic staff members, Dr. Angela Karoro, from the Faculty of Science and Education.

In a memo released by the Dean, the Faculty of Science and Education community expressed deep sorrow upon hearing the news of Dr. Angela Karoro’s untimely passing. As a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Dr. Karoro had made significant contributions to the university and the academic community as a whole. The memo also stated that the tragic event occurred on May 30th, 2023, in Tororo, although the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

The university is currently making arrangements for the burial and other related ceremonies, which will be communicated to the university community in due course. As the news of Dr. Angela Karoro’s passing reverberates throughout the university, heartfelt condolences and prayers are being extended to her family, friends, and colleagues.
