Movie Review:
Finding a Movie to watch during Weekends can be hectic especially with thousands of new releases available now! Across theatres, streaming, and on-demand platforms like Apple plus, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney plus and more as we find ourselves scrolling and scrolling for so long that we just end up turning off the TV and going to bed.

Well for those looking for entertaining themselves with movies, we’ve decided to make this process a little easier by rounding up some of the best movies from various streaming services in order to turn that endless scroll into a problem of the past.
1. THE MENU
The Menu is a dark comedy horror film that keeps one in suspense for the whole runtime and trumps expectations with its sublime plot.
The film is centered around a group of elite guests who arrive on a private island for a dining experience at celebrity chef Julian Slowik’s exclusive restaurant, Hawthorne.
2. SHOTGUN WEDDING
In Shotgun Wedding, Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, just as the couple begin to get cold feet. And if that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken, hostage. “‘Til Death Do Us Part” takes on a whole new meaning in this hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones–if they don’t kill each other first.
3. YOU PEOPLE
A new couple learns that opposites attract but some families don’t when they find themselves confronting their parent’s clashing views of their relationship in this comedy written by Jonah Hill and Kenya Barris. You People starring Jonah Hill, Lauren London, David Duchovny, and Nia Long with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Eddie Murphy comes to Netflix on January 27
4. ALMOST FAMOUS
A high-school boy in the early 1970s is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone magazine about an up-and-coming rock band as he accompanies them on their concert tour.
5. GLASS ONION
During the COVID-19 pandemic in May 2020, Miles Bron, the billionaire co-founder of technology company Alpha, hosts a murder mystery game at the Glass Onion, his mansion on a private island in Greece. He invites five friends: Alpha head scientist Lionel Toussaint, Connecticut governor Claire Debella, controversial fashion designer Birdie Jay, men’s rights streamer Duke Cody, and ousted Alpha co-founder Cassandra “Andi” Brand. The five friends are delivered a wooden puzzle box to decipher and find the invitation inside. The five travel to Miles’s island, along with Birdie’s assistant Peg and Duke’s girlfriend Whiskey. Famous detective Benoit Blanc joins them; although Miles says he did not invite Blanc, he allows Blanc to stay, assuming another guest sent him an invitation as a joke.
6. TRIANGLE OF SADNESS
Carl and Yaya, a couple of influencers, are invited to a luxury cruise ship alongside a group of out-of-touch wealthy people. The situation takes an unexpected turn when a brutal storm hits the ship.
7. AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
8. EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE
A Chinese-American woman (Michelle Yeoh) is audited by the Internal Revenue Service, who discovers that she must connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent a powerful being from causing the destruction of them all.

9. MEGAN
When a young girl loses both of her parents in a car accident, she is taken in by her aunt (played by Allison Williams), a tech-savvy toy designer who questions her skills as a parent. So, to try to help her niece, this aunt introduces her to her latest invention—a lifelike robotic doll named M3GAN who is constantly adapting thanks to the information she processes. However, things take a twisted turn when M3GAN starts murdering people to protect her young owner.
10. PLANE
Pilot Brodie Torrance saves passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island — only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning. When dangerous rebels take most of the passenger’s hostage, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare, an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI.

On a remote island off the coast of Ireland, Pádraic is devastated when his buddy Colm suddenly puts an end to their lifelong friendship. With help from his sister and a troubled young islander, Pádraic sets out to repair the damaged relationship by any means necessary. However, as Colm’s resolve only strengthens, he soon delivers an ultimatum that leads to shocking consequences.
