The Korea Corner to be launched at Makerere university

Makerere university Main Library

As one of the activities to mark 50 years of Diplomatic ties between Uganda and South Korea this year, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uganda and Makerere University will launch the Korea Corner in the Makerere University Main Library on Wednesday, 6 August 2014 – 10:00am to 11:00am

The Korea Corner in the Main Library will promote cultural and academic exchanges between Uganda and South Korea. This will be achieved by having a Korean (KOICA Volunteer) being present at the Korea Corner to teach the Korean language course (already ongoing in the University) as well as guide and assist all those who come to the corner.

The Corner will exhibit Korean culture through wall hangings (Paintings/pictures), movies, books, seminars and discussions, history, taekwondo information, etc.
