The BIGSSS Predoctoral scholaships for International Students in Germany,2014

The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) invites applications to its Predoctoral Fellowship/ scholarship program that will commence on September 1st, 2014.

Fellowships/Scholarships are available for pursuing Predoctoral research programme in one of BIGSSS’ three Thematic Fields (Global Governance and Regional Integration, Welfare State, Inequality and Quality of Life and Changing Lives in Changing Socio-Cultural Contexts).

BIGSSS offers 2 Predoctoral Fellowships/ scholarships of 800 Euros/month for particularly talented BA graduates. After fulfilling some course requirements and having their proposals accepted within the first year, candidates can switch into the regular three year PhD program.

Deadline: The application period for the Fall 2014 semester will begin on November 15th, 2013 and go until February 15th, 2014.

Study Subject(s): Fellowships/ Scholarships will pursue a topic in one of BIGSSS’ three Thematic Fields- Global Governance and Regional Integration, Welfare State, Inequality and Quality of Life and Changing Lives in Changing Socio-Cultural Contexts.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
