The 20th Graduation Ceremony of Islamic University in Uganda

Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU)  will hold its 20th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday 16th March, 2013 beginning at 9.00am at the University Main Campus  in Mbale.

All graduands are expected to take their seats by 8.00 am prompt.

The graduands should take note of the following:
1. Each graduand will pay for the graduation as indicated below;

2. Gown (buying) 65,000/=
3. Certificate 25,000/=
4. Transcript 30,000/=
5. Convocation fee 10,000/=
6. Graduation booklet and IUIU News Bulletin 10,000/=
7. Refreshments 5,000/=
8. Bank charges 2,500/=
TOTAL 227,500/=

2. The graduation fee shall be paid in Standard Chartered Bank, Mbale Branch on account No.010-200-603-8000 or Crane Bank, Mbale Branch on account number 0146056578600.
3. Students should present a bank deposit slip to the Bursary in duplicate.
4. Graduands who have paid all their university dues in full will be the ones to attend the graduation ceremony.
5. The deadline for paying graduation fees, University fees and all other requirements is 22nd February, 2013.
6. Students who intend to graduate should register for graduation on or before 22nd February, 2013 at IUIU Main Campus, IUIU Kampala Campus, IUIU Arua Campus, IUIU Females’ Campus or IUIU Liaison Office, King Fahd Plaza Kampala.
7. Graduation gowns for students from the main campus shall be obtained at the Main Campus, Mbale and IUIU Liaison office, King Fahd Plaza- Kampala.
8. Graduands from the Main Campus who would wish to collect their graduation gowns from King Fahd Plaza, Kampala should register at King Fahd Plaza or online (ERP) at erp.iuiu.ac.ug before 1st March 2013.
9. Students of Kampala Campus, Arua Campus and the Females’ Campus shall obtain their gowns from their Campuses.
10. All graduands are reminded to observe IUIU dress code to be allowed to attend the ceremony.
11. The students who completed their studies in the previous academic years but did not graduate will be allowed to graduate on satisfying the conditions stated in 1-5 above.
12. No graduands, parents and all invited guests shall be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony with any of the following gargets; fire arms, large bags, radio communication gadgets, cameras, pipes/ cylindrical objects, packed items including foods/drinks or any other gadgets described as dangerous to life.
