Thierry Henry will officially start his job this Saturday when Monaco face off an impressive Strasbourg at Stade de la Meinau in Ligue one.

Henry was appointed Monaco manager after the sacking of Leonardo Jardim in the past weeks.

He comes with limited experience having coached Arsenal’s under 19s and having spent two years as assistant manager of Roberto Martinez in the Belgium national team.

Henry comes to a team that has been in the Champions League places for the last five years, though currently lie in the 18^th position.

Monaco haven’t won any of their last ten games in all competitions this season. The visitors have one goal in the last four games, losing each of them.

Monaco defence is alarming having kept no clean sheet in all the last nine games, conceding 17 and scoring six goals only.

Meanwhile, Strasbourg lie ninth in the league having gathered three wins, three draws and three losses from their nine opening league games.

The hosts have scored 13 goals in their last six games. Adrien Thomasson, Lebo Mothiba and Nuno Da Costa have been on a fine form for the hosts.

Strasbourg has a good form at home having lost once in the last six fixtures with Monaco gathering one point from their last four.

Diego Benagli, Willem Geubbels, Rony Lopes and Ronael Pierre-Gabriel are all doubts while Pietro Pellegri is out until November for the hosts.

Bejamin Corgnet, Abdallah Ndour and Ludovic Ajorque face chances of missing while Jemerson and Andrea Raggi are both suspended. Kevin N’Doram out with an elbow injury for Monaco
