State Minister of Trade to Grace KIU Cultural Gala

The President of Kampala International University (KIU) Guild Union, Moses Ebye has disclosed that Hon David Bahati, the minister of state for trade will be the guest of honour at the much-awaited Cultural gala on Saturday 25th February 2023.

President Ebye said that so many other important dignitaries are expected at Saturday’s event and that Hon David Bahati will be the guest of honour.

“I am happy to confirm that the honourable David Bahati, minister of state for trade will be our guest of honour for this year’s cultural gala,” he disclosed.

Ebye thanked the University administration for accepting the cultural gala and being able to work closely with the Guild Union in the build-up to Saturday’s event which he said is very important for both the students and the University as a whole.

“Cultural gala is a very important event, first it helps students to exhibit their cultures and learn from one another while on the other hand, it shows that KIU values and respects culture,” he said.

20 Cultural associations have so far confirmed that they will participate in the Cultural gala and they have been rehearsing in preparation for the D-Day.
