St Mary’s SS, Kitende tops Government Sponsorship admission list 2015/2016

Mr. Lawrence Mulindwa is the brain behind St Mary’s SS Kitende.

St Mary’s SS, Kitende has topped the government sponsorship admission list with 230 slots out of 2,097 students that will be funded at Kyambogo University, Makerere University and Muni university for the academic year 2015/2016.

Uganda Martyrs SS, Namugongo is second with 86 students followed by King’s College Budo in the third place with 55.

Ntare School is fourth with 45 of their students admitted.

According to the list released on Thursday 7th May 2015 by Charles Ssentongo, the Makerere University academic registrar in charge of undergraduate students, Makerere university takes 1,326 students while Makerere University Business School 268.

Out of 3,000 students admitted on Government Sponsorship scheme at Public Universities on merit, Kyambogo University takes 431 slots and Muni University 72.

Other public universities like Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), Busitema University and Gulu University are yet to release their lists of students admitted on Government sponsorship.
