The Online application is now open until Mid of March 2020. Students who will get their Bachelors, Masters or MPhil degrees by 28 February 2020 are also eligible to apply.

Important Notes for Applying Early!

The Korean universities will start taking admissions soon for Spring 2020. But students from different countries Also from Pakistan, try to contact and impress professors earlier than the opening of the admission process of Spring 2020. Therefore, if you apply late, then maybe the professor would already have chosen a student for his lab from another country. So, it good that you start now to find and contact the professor, in order to secure your seat in the professor’s lab.

Eligibility Criteria Of South Korea Government Scholarship 2020

The applicant and his/her parents must have foreign citizenship.
* Applicants who hold Korean citizenship are not permitted to apply for this program.
Applicants should be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for an extended period of time.
Applicants must be under 40 years of age of the selection year.
Applicants must maintain a grade point average (G.P.A.) of at least 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, 2.80 on a 4. 3 scales, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale, or grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previously attended institution.
Applicants who have Korean proficiency or English proficiency may be given preference.
Applicants who apply for natural science and technology program may be given preference.
Applicants who are university professors currently in developing countries may be given preference.

Applicants must choose 3 desired universities and available fields of study among
67 universities listed in section III.

Applicants that pass the 2nd round of selection will go through university admission in the
3rd round of selection.
