Sir Evelyn de Rothschild War Studies Scholarship for International Students in UK, 2014

Department of War Studies, King’s College London offers War Studies scholarship for international students in UK. The scholarship will help towards the cost of tuition fees and living costs for the duration of the recipient’s study.

The successful applicant must begin his/her study on the War Studies Mphil or PhD programmes at King’s College London in January 2014. The application deadline is 30th November 2013.

Scholarship Description: King’s College London is pleased to announce that an exceptional gift from Sir Evelyn de Rothschild towards the Professor Sir Michael Howard Scholarship Fund has established The Sir Evelyn de Rothschild Scholarship. The Professor Sir Michael Howard Scholarship Fund was set up to celebrate and honour Sir Michael’s exceptional contribution in the field of War Studies and is enabling researchers to follow in his tradition.

Number of award(s): One scholarship will be offered.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship will be offered for the duration of the recipient’s study.

What does it cover? The studentship is £20,000 p.a. for a maximum of three years f/t study. The scholarship will be available to students commencing their studies in January 2014. The Scholarship will help towards the cost of tuition fees and living costs for the durations of the recepient’s study.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
