Singer Martin Angume is dead

R.I.P Martin Angume

Singer Martin Angume is dead .Though there has been numerous false reports about the health of Martin Angume ,his wife confirmed his death today Monday 6th in the morning.

Angume has been bedridden for several month at Mulago Hospital. Doctors discovered recently that his kidneys, liver and pancreas were in a bad state.

Efforts to take him out of the country for more specialized treatment were futile since he was too weak.

Martin Angume will be remembered for his love band music with the likes of switch,Olimukazi Namba Mekka, Yagala Mussaja wo, Ekirungo Kyo Mukwano, and many others.

Martin Angume rose to fame in the late 1990′s when he collaborated with Betty Mpologoma to release their first album which was a hit in Uganda.

He later joined Diamond assembles of Kato Lubwama which he later left. He has been one of the favorite among band music lover in Uganda.
