SHOCKING! Makerere University Medical Student Dies

On12th March 2020 afternoon, the College of Health Sciences Makerere University was under shock after receiving news about the death of their 2nd-year student Mubiru Brian who was pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.

Colleagues suspect that Mubiru was poisoned due to complaints about stomach pains he had since 8th March 2020 until his death.

Brian went home after complaints of chronic stomach pains. It is suspected that the deceased must have been poisoned by his close peers either at school or at home.

Brian was outgoing, interactive and a generous person who was very passionate about serving mankind, classmates described him

“On behalf of Makerere University College of Health Sciences students’ fraternity, I sadly announce the demise of our colleague, Mubiru Brian, a 2nd-year student of Bachelor’s in medicine and surgery. May his dear soul rest in eternal peace” partially read an announcement from his College President.

Police are still carrying out Investigations about the cause of Brian’s death and we are still waiting for a police report.
