Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU), Plot 31, The Edge, Makerere University, Kampala Uganda

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the demanding position of Senior Systems Engineer of the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU). RENU is a not-for-profit organisation that encourages ICT-enabled collaboration among Ugandan researchers and the higher education community by linking them to their peers and partners, nationally within Uganda, regionally within Africa and internationally to the global Research and Education (R&E) communities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering.
  • A Master’s degree in the above fields is an added advantage.
  • At least two certifications in Linux.
  • A certification in database administration and management is an added advantage.
