Job Summary: The Senior Officer, Adolescent Development will be responsible for planning and ensuring quality and timely implementation of the Adolescent Development (AD) core program (with Very Young Adolescent Programme components) within the designated sub counties. S/he is expected to implement the AD program in a manner that promotes integration with other core programs of Sponsorship and cross cutting themes such as gender, disability, child Protection and rights programming.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Save the Children Senior Officer, Adolescent Development job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education or health- related discipline
- A minimum of three years of related working experience in planning and implementing Adolescent Development (AD) or Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) programmes.
- Previous exposure and experience of riding an XL Motorcycle shall be an added advantage.
- Experience of working with the Local Government, local partners and training in either Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) with a focus on promoting adolescent friendly service delivery in the communities.
- Experience of working with local partners and District Local Government in Child Rights Governance, Health, Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS or Child Protection is an added advantage.
