Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) to Hold World Sexual Health Day Inter-University Dialogue

Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) will on Saturday September 22, 2018 hold an Inter- University dialogue in commemoration of the World Sexual Health Day.

The dialogue will be held at the Makerere University Freedom Square from  8:00am-5.00 pm (EAT) under the theme “Sexuality Education, Health and Development” (#IUDUg18).

Over 1,000 participants from different universities who including technical sexuality experts, lecturers, the media, policy makers, students, academia, religious and cultural leaders, civil society are expected to attend the event.

The event focuses on providing a platform to address issues on the role of Sexuality Education in the long-term development agenda of Uganda and to enable actors at various levels to understand and commit their roles and responsibilities for values-based Sexuality Education.

All interested parties are invited.

RHU is a non-governmental organisation established in 1957 and an affiliate of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), offering sexual reproductive health service and information to Ugandan, especially young people, the poor and marginalized and hard-to-reach communities.
