Rapper Cardi B Responds to Video of Dalai Lama Asking a Young Boy to Kiss His Tongue

American rapper Cardi B has expressed disgust over a circulating video of the Dalai Lama and a young boy Kissing.

In the disturbing viral clip, the religious leader kisses a young child standing before him. He then asked the innocent-looking boy to kiss his tongue.

Many netizens slammed the video as it circulated online, calling it inappropriate, scandalous, and disgusting.

Dalai Lama’s office issued an apology, claiming that the Dalai Lama’s actions had been innocent and fun.

The statement read: “His holiness wishes to apologise to the boy and his family as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused. His holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident.”

The rapper took to Twitter to speak her mind.

She wrote: “This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Predators could be our neighbours, our school teachers, even people with money, power, and our churches,” the rap diva stated.

She reminded parents out there to talk with their kids: “Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”
