R.I.P – students who died on their way to a study trip

R.I.P

What started as a bright day just ended in tears to the parents, teachers, relatives and friends to students of Wits College Namulanda who got an accident on their way to a study tour.

Joseph Ssemanda, a geography teacher, and Akena Geoffrey died on the spot.  The students were traveling to Kibimba Rice scheme in Bugiri District for a fieldwork study tour on Friday 7th June.
30 students were also injured  and are still being admitted at Nakavule hospital in Iganga District and Jinja referral hospital.
May the Lord rest their souls in peace as we pray for quick recovery to those admitted.
