Job Summary: The Quality Control Manager will support Bayport Uganda by planning, coordinating, analyzing and controlling the quality of Loans processed, so that we identify and mitigate possible loan frauds and default both qualitatively and quantitatively according to Quality Control policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate, monitor, analyze and Evaluate Loan Quality Control policies and procedures.
- Identify, Initiate, develop, monitor and review Quality Control Processes and recommend for possible improvements.
- Identify, assess, monitor and respond to existing and potential Quality control risks with mitigation plans.
- Identify, design and communicate Quality Control information systems and communication processes.
- Plan, develop and manage the performance of Quality Control staff according to the Human resource policies.
- Develop, implement and control the departmental Budget, manage departmental Asset utilization and safety.
- In charge of loan approvals
- Tasked with loan disbursement Database updating.
- Daily compilation of expected Loan disbursement summary and trading report of the previous day.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Bayport Financial Services Bayport Financial Services Uganda Quality Control Manager job placement should a Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field,
- Possession of post graduate training in management is an added advantage.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a Banking or Financial Institution at a Supervisory level in Credit Risk Management, Risk and compliance or Operational controls,
- A high degree of integrity, operational fluency, controls and compliance knowledge,
- Good team leader, able to work with and supervise a team of not less than 10 staff,
- Must demonstrate organizational prowess and proven ability to make independent decisions while ensuring supportive business practice and cross cutting coordination with in country sales, branch teams, other credit teams,
- Proven analytical skills and proactive risks mitigation and fraud deterrent experiences and skills
- Must have never been accused, investigated for impropriety or corrupt and questionable loan management or business practice
