Mildmay Uganda is a faith- based local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) offering Comprehensive HIV Care & treatment, Training, Research & General Medical Services; also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for integrating Quality Assurance/Continuous Quality Improvement principles and functionalizing QA System across Mildmay Uganda supported programmes with the aim to promote and sustain excellence in programme planning and implementation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The ideal candidate for the Mildmay Quality Assurance Officer job opportunity must hold a Diploma in Clinical Medicine
.• A degree in Public Health will be an added advantage
.• Two years of experience in working in an HIV care setting
• Two years’ experience in Health Systems Strengthening related work with key skills in mentorship, coaching, and application of the CQI approach
.• S/he should also have demonstrable knowledge and experience in the following areas; use of statistical packages like SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info, MS ACCESS and EXCEL; Quality Assurance, M&E, Research or Data quality management systems.
