Job Title: Project Technical Officer
The Government of the Republic of Uganda has received financing from The World Bank towards the cost of the Water Management & Development Project. The Government intends to apply part of the proceeds for eligible payments under consultancy services.
Job Summary: The Project Technical Officer will be offering technical support to Component 1 of Water Management and Development Project (WMDP) in order to improve implementation of project activities under the approved work plan. The Project Technical Officer will assist the Component Manager in provision of technical support to the Project Team during implementation of various activities in the respective Water Management Zones (WMZs). The

NB: A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant (IC) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, dated January 2011 (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
