The Chair, Department of Medicine, College of Health Sciences (CHS), Makerere University, Prof. Moses R. Kamya‘s project has been selected as one of the 22 awards of The Fogarty International Center’s HIV Research Training Program.
The awards worth US $22M are intended to strengthen the ability of the grantee institutions to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic, while building expertise in a particular scientific or critical research infrastructure area.
Prof. Kamya‘s project titled Building Implementation Science Capacity in HIV at Makerere University aims at developing an application for a comprehensive research training program in Implementation Science Research (ISR) focused on engagement in care at the College of Health Sciences (CHS), Makerere University.
