SeaOwl manages the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing, recruitment, mobilization and personnel planning for energy customers. It is specialized in highly-skilled profiles and the underlying activity of designees / staff mainly covers drilling and off-shore oil rig management. It also provides scalable, integrated operations & maintenance resources and services covering the lifecycle of energy assets, as well as tele-operated surveillance and maintenance services.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support To act as the focal point of contact / responsible person for coordination within the Tilenga project, team, and in liaison with the TEPU Permitting Coordinator (who is responsible for the interface with Authorities and TEPU departments), to ensure that all permit requests are developed, submitted, and obtained in a timely manner in accordance with the relevant legislation and the Permits, Licences, Approvals & Consents (PLANC) Register.
  • To regularly update the PLANC Register with status and generate reports as required.
  • To develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets & reporting tools as necessary to carry out the work.
  • To carry out any duties assigned in furtherance of the above activities or other activities as may be assigned from time to time. HSE:
  • To fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions.
  • To stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.
  • To report to Management on any issue they may face or observe and propose way of improvement.
  • To also take care of colleagues safety and behaviour without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary.
  • To give his / her own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy)
  • When in doubt; ask questions to gain clarification.
  • To fully comply with security rules about traveling in Uganda.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business /Social Sciences, Engineering or Law
  • At least ten years of experience in Oil & Gas with a good understanding of project activities, maintaining, and control of documents.
  • Knowledge of planning and best practices on oil & gas projects
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
