Over 1000 to Graduate at Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education (BRIBTE)

Students of Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education in a practical session.

Over 1000 students are set to graduate at the 12th graduation ceremony of Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education (BRIBTE) Mengo.

The graduation is scheduled to take place on the 25th January 2018 at Kakeeka Mengo.

Students will be awarded with Certificates and Diplomas in different academic courses. 

According to information from the office of the academic registrar, the Institute has graduated over 9,000 students since its inception in 1999.

Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education (BRIBTE) Mengo was founded by Buganda Kingdom with a view to equip students with practical knowledge and skills for employability.

The Institute operates under the Ministry of Education, Buganda Kingdom and is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), Central Government.

BRIBTE is also licensed by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) to offer training in Business, Technical and Vocational Studies at both Certificate and Diploma levels.

In addition, the Institute is recognised by the National Examinations Bodies and was awarded examinations centers from the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB), and the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT).

Philimon Badagawa

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
