Unlike most university students who only think of working in air conditioned offices, Mukwaya Ronald’s mindset is different.
A third year student offering a post graduate degree course in computer graphics and design at Nkumba university participated in the recently concluded trade bazaar at Nkumba.
Mukwaya was selling roasted maize which he harvested from his own garden located a few kilometers away from campus.
He is a Member of Parliament in Nkumba University Guild government headed by Byarugaba Julius.
Mukwaya is a man with special needs and he represents students with Disabilities(PWD) in the Guild.
His entrepreneurship skills and maize business have earned him cash that left many university students whispering sweet-nothings.
Truly ‘disability is not inability’ especially when it comes to work issues and university students had better thought of changing their mindsets. Kudos Mukwaya.
