Preview of the match.
By Ballack Olupot Ivanovic. Nkumba University and Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will battle in a highly anticipated University Football League match today 10th.
MUBS have been quite in consistent in the league this season and currently stand in 3rd place in the table.
Still the squad has shown plenty of abilities with a big win over Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
Conversely, Nkumba have dominated most of their competition to remain at the glimpse of the University Log. A draw against Kampala and Makerere University and lately Ndejje University were the only negatives on, otherwise flawless start of the year.
These two sides will remain among the top contenders to win this year’s title. Although each side has an elite defense, the offensive players will be too good to keep off the score sheet. Martin Sseruwagi will be able to create plenty of opportunities for him and teammates and it will be enough to get the ball into the net at least a couple of times.
On the other end of the pitch MUBS will be able to make the most of their opportunities behind Shaban Juma Omara and others.
“I want results against MUBS and I want to maintain my unbeaten record this season stated Nkumba coach Patrick Sebuliba We beat them 2-1 in the first round and we do remember the last game of last season they beat us so we are meant to be more conscious against MUBS in front of our fans added S ebuliba.
While Hilary Kibugwe is optimistic of a win in Nkumba claiming the players want to prove a point that they deserved last years title.
