Nkumba university starts new courses in Nursing and Public Health

Nkumba University Graduates cheering up their academic success. .

Nkumba University has started a new Diploma course in General Nursing. This was revealed at the 17th Graduation ceremony of Nkumba University held on Saturday 25th October 2014 where 1824 were awarded Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees in various academic courses.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wilson Muyinda Mande told the parents that National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has already accredited the course.

“I’m happy to inform you that NCHE has accredited the course and a team from Uganda Nursing and Midwifery Council inspected the facilities and made their recommendations”, Prof Mande said.

He also added that the university has also started a degree course in Public Health.
