“This notice serves to remind and clarify that the 26th Graduation Ceremony of Nkumba University will be held on Saturday, 26th October 2024 at Nkumba University Ceremonial Grounds,” reads part of the letter.

During the ceremony, students will be awarded certificates, diplomas, degrees, master’s degrees, and PhDs in various disciplines.

“The final graduation lists will be generated on October 18, 2024, and will be available on notice boards and our website,” explained Dr. Kiyingi. He added, “We will also produce a draft graduation booklet on October 19, 2024, followed by the release of the official graduation booklets the following day.”

This year’s commencement lecture is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024, just a day before the graduation ceremony.

Dr. Kiyingi emphasized that all graduands must present original certificates to the Admissions Office during clearance for verification. He also reminded students to pay the graduation fee and alumni fee as well as the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) fees.
