Nkumba University has launched a new campus in Kampala where undergraduate and postgraduate courses shall be offered during day, evening and over the weekend.
The launch was officiated by Prof. Godon Wavamunno who serves as the Chancellor, Nkumba University on Wednesday 15th July 2015.
The Academic Registrar Nkumba University, Christine Obonyo Kyayonka noted that the new campus will offer courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels starting from August 2015.
Lectures will be conducted during day, evening and over the weekends.
“Degree courses in Business Administration, Development studies, Education, Human Resource Management, Procurement and Logistics Management are some of the courses that will be taught”, Christine Obonyo says.
While speaking at the function, Wavamunno said the new campus is well located in the central business district and will thus help in availing easy access to quality education.
“My appeal is that you continue maintaining the education progress that you have been offering”, Prof. Godon Wavamunno said.
He also advised Nkumba University administrators to extend the service to other parts of the country and not only limit it to Kampala.
He appealed to the students to utilize the available facilities so that they achieve their objectives as to why they are at Nkumba University and also enjoy learning.
