Nkumba University Football Team fined, docked points.

Nkumba University Football Team has been fined and docked points for use of an ineligible player during their Pepsi Uganda University Football League (UFL) games played so far this season.

The UFL Disciplinary Committee (DC) received information that Wasswa Emmanuel Alex who was registered and played for Nkumba University was also registered and playing in the FUFA Big League contrary to Rule 21(e).

The DC investigated the allegations and established that Wasswa Emmanuel Alex is registered with FUFA Big League side, Water FC.

As per Rule 98 (b) & (e), the DC imposed a deducted of 3pts and 3 goals from Nkumba University as well as a fine of UGX 500,000 for fielding an ineligible player in their matches.
