Nkumba University fees structure for Undergraduate Courses 2015/2016

Have you ever wondered how much Nkumba university charges for the courses offered at Undergraduate level, here is a chance to wonder no more.

The Campus Times brings you the breakdown of the Tuition/fees charged for the different courses at the private chartered university located along Entebbe high way.

The newly admitted students pay relatively higher fees in the first semester than the semesters that follow.

According to information from the office of the academic registrar, a Ugandan National studying a degree course in Business Administration on weekend or evening program pays shillings 1,809,600 during the first semester and 1,772,600/= in the second semester.

While students coming from outside Uganda (International Students) enrolled for the same course pay shillings 2,094,800 during the first semester and 2,057,800 shillings in the semester that follows.

Students studying courses like Bachelor of Arts with Education, BSc. Journalism, Bachelor of Psychology Guidance and Counselling which are taught under the school of Education, Humanities and Sciences pay 1,829,400/= in the first semester and 1,792,400/= in the second semester.

Under the School of Sciences where courses like Financial Engineering, Tourism, Catering, Public Health, Nursing, Environmental Management, Fisheries Management; a bachelors course goes for 1,892,400/= for Uganda Nationals in the first semester and 1,792,400 for the semester that follows.

Uganda Nationals in the School of Social Sciences pay 1,845,800/= for first semester and 1,808,800/= during the second semester. None Ugandans in the same school pay 1,703,100/= and 1,666,100/= for first and second semester respectively for bachelors courses.

Diploma courses in the different schools range between 1,400,000/= to 1,700,000/= per semester for Uganda Nationals and between 1,600,000/= to 1,850,000/= for none Ugandans.

Nkumba university provides accommodation and meals to undergraduate students on day program at a fee of 900,000/= per semester.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
