Nkumba University: Freshers at Nkumba university are going through a full week orientation session which started on 11th August as the university was also opening for the new semester.
This program is headed by the dean of students, Kasasa David Christopher alongside the guild officials. On Tuesday, new students were informed about their leaders in halls of residence, ministers among others.
They will also get the directions about their lecture rooms and other offices in case of they needed any assistance. It is also vital for students to attend this orientation, as most of them are new to the place.
Some freshers that The Campus Times talked to said that this was a good arrangement because some of them do not know how to use the flash toilets and behaving maturely when in public.
They will also be introduced to the security officers of the university to ensure safety measures of the new students among others.
