Job Title: Neighbourhood Children’s Program Coordinator

Job Summary: Watoto is seeking to recruit a Coordinator NCP to work with the Neighbourhood Mothers’ children to restore them to dignity and empower both girls and boys to reach their God given potential.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To identify children that need support under the NCP programme and connect with the district administration to ensure smooth engagement of the programme.
- To prepare training materials, identify volunteers and train them for classes.
- To prepare timetables, outreach schedules and distribute them to the centres.
- To prepare timely program requisitions and accountabilities.
- To carryout inventory, stocktaking, and pack items for the districts.
- To conduct discipleship and life skills training for the children with HTI and other stakeholders.
- To carryout program evaluation with the team and the districts and follow up on children to make reports case by case.
- To compile success stories from the children, parents, and any other stakeholders.
- To attend district development working partners meetings and celebrations and prepare children for celebrations.
- To carryout regular survey to know Childrens’ needs and develop ways of meeting them.
- To participate in discipleship, counselling sessions and provide moral and financial support.
- To carry out and supervise follow up hospital visits, home visits and document exact locations, welfare, and spiritual growth.
- To compile and support in periodic reports compilation on a timely basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Watoto role should hold at least a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Community Psychology, Social work, Education, or any relevant field.
- At least a minimum of two years’ working experience in a reputable organization.
- Certificate in Child protection and HIV Counselling will be added advantage.
- Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Should be result-oriented, initiative-taking, and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a high level of integrity
- Demonstrate a high level of teamwork
