Makerere University will have to tighten their laces against fellow Ndejje if they are to be amongst the contestants of the League trophy this time.
They have registered back to back loses against Kampala University and MUBS which has caused alarms and chants from the fans calling for the resignation of their manager Fred Ndawula.
MUK coach Fred Ndawula is expected to shuffle his pack once again when the Reds face Ndejje University in their League match at the Ndejje Arena today.
Defender Tanga Obbo will be beginning his three match ban against Ndejje. Fred Ndawula, the Reds head coach, has expressed confidence that his side will start grinding out results in their favour.
“We do have a complicated game against Ndejje and our form is pathetic, out of the three games we have won one and registered back to back losses which isn’t good for us but against Ndejje who are yet to get a point we shall try our level best to win the game” Ndawula said.
As for their counter parts Ndejje are occupying the 7th spot on the league table, the new entrants in the University Football League side have thus far struggled to perform in the highest echelons of Varsity football. They have an abysmal record at home, and their showings on the road are no different.

They have an overall record of 3 played, drawn none and lost 3. The MUK game may be pivotal to Ndejje as MUK tends to struggle to teams with the passing approach.
