NCHE Visits IUIU

On 14th July 2022, Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU)  hosted an Inspection Team of the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) .

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda the Rector of IUIU welcomed them and assured them of C’s commitment to quality, and collaboration with all regulatory bodies, headed by NCHE.

He also informed the Team that IUIU has been designated as the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) hub for Africa by the Standing Committee on Science and Technological Cooperation of OIC member states (COMSTECH).

As a result of this opportunity, IUIU will be hosting capacity-building international STI workshops and seminars for staff of IUIU and other African Universities.

Next month, a Halal Testing and Certification Workshop is taking place and in December a Clinical Studies workshop.
