Students at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Jinja campus elected Muzamiru Walugembe as their Guild Prime Minister.
Walugembe emerged victorious with 254 votes in an election held last week. He becomes the first guild leader at MUBS, Jinja campus ever since it was established in 2006.
Walugembe who is a second year student studying a degree course in Business Administration beat two others in the race.
Moses Kwijuka got 225 votes while Moses Teko tailed with 95 votes.
The swearing in ceremony was held on Wednesday last week.
