MUHIKA HOSTEL

MUHIKA HOSTEL

A wide open gate welcomes us as we approach Muhika Hostel along Nanfubambi off sir Apollo Kagwa road. The structure is still under construction but the ground level and the corresponding two floors are a bee hive of activity.

Active on the ground floor is a mobile Money booth, a video library, a pool table shade and a hair salon. Young men and women are visible, moving in and out of the hostel. They are students and this seems to be their place aboard though Muhika is one of the hostels around Makerere university.
