Ugandan striker Mohammed Shaban has signed for Moroccan side Raja Club Athletic after his trial at Orlando Pirates, the club announced on their website.
Shaban has penned a three-year contract with the Casablanca-based outfit.
Sources last week revealed Shaban had left Pirates after training for a few weeks in Soweto under coach Milutin Sredojevic.
According to a source, Shaban, who netted 18 goals for KCCA last season, didn’t really fit in the plans of South African side Orlando Pirates.
Bucs have bagged four goals in as many matches this campaign, with Zambian forwards Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga on target along with Gladwin Shitolo.
Shitolo unfortunately also scored an own-goal in a 1-0 loss to log leaders Bidvest Wits at Orlando Stadium last night.
