The Uganda National Cultural Central Centre (UNCC) annual Arts and Culture Festival will be a cultural tourism event that will celebrate the rich cultural heritage, customs, colourful arts and traditional entertainment of Uganda.
According to UNCC executive director Francis Ojede, this year, as the country marks 60 years of its independence, the fourth edition of the UNCC Annual festival will be celebrated as Uganda@60 from Friday, October 7 to Sunday, October 9.
The activities for the three days include cultural troupes’ performances, a carnival and floats parade, stage plays and open air cinema, musical concert among others.
Over 200,000 local and foreign visitors are expected to attend the three-day event.
